Term | Definition |
Administer | Issue verdicts or punishments. |
Deservice | To kill an unfit Overwatch asset designated for termination by Dispatch. |
Deserviced | Death of an Overwatch asset. |
Document | To note down verdicts or punishments, refers to a citizen's records |
Clamp | Lockdown the designated area using forcefields and Combine locks. |
Cycle | To detain an individual and administer their punishment. |
Converge | To move to a location. |
Expired | No longer in use; terminated. |
Expose | Deprive the target cover. |
Expunge | To kill immediately; to obliterate. |
Harden | To reinforce/fortify a position, become less vulnerable. |
Command Point / CP | Designated base of operations, or entity/individual in-charge of CP assets. |
Immediate | Without delay |
Incursion | A sudden anti-citizen offense; tactical breakthrough. |
Inject | To move in; to force into something (medical). |
Inquire | To seek information by communication without outside sources. |
Intercede | To intervene and resolve as an arbitrator/meditator. |
Intercept | To stop the progress or inteded course of. |
Interlock | To connect together, become whole (in reference to team formation). |
Isolate | To separate; to cause to be apart. |
Lock | To hold postion. |
Malcompliance | "Anti-compliance" - acts that are defiance of compliance. |
Malignant | Virulent or threatening to socio-stability - inclined to cause harm. |
Midnight | An engagement protocol demanding complete silence and secrecy. |
Miscount | Unfit or defected individual. |
Non-citizen | An unregistered individual. |
Non-compliance | Failure or refusal to comply. |
Outbreak | Sudden, violent occurrence threatening the civil body. |
Pacify | A non lethal approach, to incapacitate and restrain. |
Passive | Deceased or incapacitated person. |
Pressure | To intensify in force, influence something into breaking/giving up. |
Presecute | To initiate or conduct a criminal case against (potentially including inquiry). |
Reinforce | To strengthen with additional personnel or equipment. |
Restrain | To tie up an individual. |

Request | A citizen-made assistance call. |
Ripcord | Retreat to a location, move out an area. |
Sacrifice Code | To fulfill absolute commitment to life-threatening engagements; permit no retreat. |
Search | To examine for the purpose of discovering evidence of a crime. |
Sector | The area that a particular unit is assinged to defend. |
Shield | To engage in defensive, protective batle tactics. |
Sociocide | Destruction or damage to socio-stabilization. |
Stabilize | To resore normalcy. |
Sterilize | To delete or remove compromising or damaging entites. |
Suspend | To cease. |
Sword | To engage in offensive, aggressive batle tactics. |
TAC | Tactical channel where Overwatch comms are linked across all assets. |
Tag | To label or identify; to confirm as "marked" (deceased). |
TAG | Tactical Assault Gear - any and all equipment purpose for armed combat. |

Unrest structure | A building designated to be the source of sociode. |
Verdicts | Ammunition/bullet(s). |
Verdict | Any legal judgment or decision. |

Workforce | All the people working or available to work; the citizen class of Combine society. |
