| Deservice | To kill an unfit Overwatch asset designated for termination by Dispatch. |
| Deserviced | Death of an Overwatch asset. |
| Document | To note down verdicts or punishments, refers to a citizen's records |
| Clamp | Lockdown the designated area using forcefields and Combine locks. |
| Cycle | To detain an individual and administer their punishment. |
| Converge | To move to a location. |
| Expired | No longer in use; terminated. |
| Expose | Deprive the target cover. |
| Expunge | To kill immediately; to obliterate. |
| Harden | To reinforce/fortify a position, become less vulnerable. |
| Command Point / CP | Designated base of operations, or entity/individual in-charge of CP assets. |

| Shield | To engage in defensive, protective batle tactics. |
| Sociocide | Destruction or damage to socio-stabilization. |
| Stabilize | To resore normalcy. |
