Civil Protection Rundown

This page contains rules and general advice for Civil Protection characters.

Regulations

Failure to adhere to these rules will result in your Civil Protection whitelist being potentially being revoked/suspended.

If you are unsure about a rule, ask a staff member or a more senior unit.

1. Metagaming with Biopad (such as guessing someones CID or their name to assign them points.)
2. Do not confiscate/steal items that are not classified as a contraband.
3. Confiscated contraband must be destroyed.

4. Do not leave any sort of item laying around in Command Points, or any other Overwatch area, including the armory.
5. Do not give away items to other characters. This also means you cannot have business transactions.
6. You are not allowed to use your medical supplies on citizens.Remember, you are not there to save Citizens, you are there to ensure the city remains socio-stable.
That being said, you are allowed to use your medical supplies to ensure an individual does not abruptly die middle of their sentence.
7. Do not deviate from civic data entry format. We like to keep the data entries organized and it is there for a reason.
8. Designating individuals as BOL/ANTI-CITIZEN/DETAINED requires you to follow civic data entry format.
9. Your character description must consist of one or two full sentences at most, and must hint your anonymity.
10. Do not go AFK for longer than 10 minutes, and never AFK outside the Command Point. If you have something to do then flag off.
11. You are responsible for those you cycle. Ensure that they are processed when their time is up. Do not disconnect/char swap without letting other units know.

IC Policies

Breaking these policies that will result in IC punishments, such as S.C. deduction, or unit de-servicement.

* Citizens must be pacified (knocked out and tied) whenever they are being brought in/out of HPR or CP.
* Follow the socio-stability Socio-stability weapon protocols. Firearms should not be fired or equipped during GREEN socio-stability, unless your life is in danger.
* Adhere to cohesive chatter protocols. Use the right codes and terminologies when using the radio.
* Always use Detainment Block terminals when cycling prisoners. You are required to enter citizen's CID and cycle them using the terminal.
* You must be part of a PT before leaving the HPR/CP.

Rank Structure

We employ the Intention(INT) rank system.

We consider every unit to be equal, and everyone is classified as a ground unit.

There is no calling people sir or any form of saluting, no matter their intention/rank.

You will receive sterilized credits along with your hourly ration, these points will allow you to upgrade your intention and purchase equipment.

Units that are i2 or higher are classified as a TAG (Tactical Aid Group) units. If TAG units are being called upon, you must respond with your MP7.

Every unit performs same duties, but units such as Rank Leader (RL) are responsible for making judgement calls, initiating inspections, authorizing raids and requesting Socio-stability changes.
