This page contains general information for Overwatch. It should be known that this role is a privilege that may be taken away at any time if your conduct is deemed unsuitable or lacking.

Unless it is explicitly stated, everything from Civil Protection transfers over to this faction, including regulations, breaching policies, use of deadly force and so forth.

General Information

Note: Tasks are subjected to change depending on the map rotation.

Overwatch does not use 10 codes, as they are not law enforcement.

Overwatch acts as an armed response team to backup Civil Protection units during conflicts.

Remember to review Terminal Verdict policies before making a harsh decision. Seeing someone flee does not give you the right to shoot at them. Always keep in mind that your AR2 pulse rifle's alternate fire option will force citizens to surrender.

Outside Judgement Waiver or Fractured (RED) socio-stability, keep out of infested zones and sewage tunnels.

Regulations

Breach of these regulations will likely result in your removal from the faction.

1. Cohesive chatter is a hard requirement in all forms of verbal communication.
2. Overwatch units are required to be part of a team before deploying.
-These teams require a minimum of two members to deploy.
4. Do not interfere with Civil Protection affairs. Do not inquire about their affairs over the comms, even during a code 3 situation. If they require your help they will call you.
5. Overwatch soldiers undergo memory replacements and cognitive augmentations. This means your character is required to be obedient. If you do not agree with your team leader or dispatch, keep it to yourself.

Deployment

Overwatch operates under the ratio system.

During Preserved (GREEN) socio-stability, for every 4 Civil Protection units there can be only 2 Overwatch soldiers.

This number goes up by 1 whenever the socio-stability level increases. Meaning Judgment Waiver will allow the ratio to be 4:5.
